My Hp probook-4445s is loaded with linux .I have downloaded fingerprint driver of linux which is available in your website(it is rpm based ). I converted it to debian and installed in my system ,but it is not working .

Please help to solve this issue.

So after looking around it appears there wasn't an official release for the driver from Validity but there is one project that is still being maintained, FPrint (alt page here).  Their main page hasn't been updated in a few years but it looks like a new build was released about six days ago. Installation instructions are on the page.

 

 

You will need to check exactly which hardware ID of the FPR you're using is. Here are the supported ones:

Hello Eswar2020,

 

SUSE  Linux Enterprise Desktop 11 (SLED 11) was the only Linux distribution officially supported so we only have driver distributions geared towards that OS. What distro exactly are you using? I will try and help you track down a package for your distro.
