Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

c02439213.pdf (hp.com)

Chapter 1 has the list of supported processors.

The best processor you can upgrade to would be the i7-640M dual core processor.

The graphics adapter is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.

thanks man really appreciate your help but i still have one other question like is the i7 processor is better then the one i has now bc its a dual core and im just making sure again before upgrading and thanks again

You're very welcome.

Yes, the i7 would be considerably better than the i3.  Even the i5 would be better than the i3.

First generation Quad core processors need to have a discrete graphics adapter (such as an AMD Radeon or Nvidia GT) in order to work.   The onboard Intel graphics is not supported for a quad core processor.

Here is a side-by-side comparison of your notebook's currently installed processor and the i7:

Intel® Product Specification Comparison

The i7 has a faster GHz base speed, a larger cache, and has the turbo-boost feature which if needed allows the processor to run at as fast as 3.46 GHz yet is still the same wattage as the i3.

It just depends on if you want to go through the trouble to take the notebook apart to replace the processor.

Looks like you can pick one up for around $25 USD, so it is not that expensive.
