HP Spectre purchased July 2016 now has a mother board failure. This is the diagnosis by a reputable technology retailer. I purchased this high end laptop expecting it to live a long / longer life than 3.5 years. (2nd purchase of an HP Spectre in 2016, this was for a family member. As of now, both have failures. They are not the exact same model. )
Is HP aware of the failure rate? Have they or will they address it with purchasers - to correct the deficit? Three years is not long for a high end laptop, at least not from this consumer's view.
