HP15s-eq1040nl - Is it safe to install 32GB of RAM?

HP Recommended
HP15s-eq1040nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to install 32GB of RAM on my laptop. Max supported according to manual is 16GB but was told on another thread that 32 might work (also Crucial System scanner tells me this).

My question is: If I install 32GB clocked at 2666MHz, will they work at full speed? (2666MHz) or will they be downscaled?

You should be able to install 32GB of RAM using 2400MHz or 2666MHz or 3200MHz BUT machine will run at 2400MHz.

Regards.
