My laptop suddenly doesn't work any more. It directed me to to test the system and gave me the following results: "Hard Drive SMART check: failed." It then proceeded to give me the following code: "0LGC50-7T7903-GXGJMA-60FN03." I want to know what this code means and then obviously what I need to do to get it fixed. Thank you for time!

Hi
If it is a hardware failure looming, then Back Up all your Data, Find/Create Recovery media and source a replacement hard drive.
If in doubt please ask.

It did state that a hard drive failure is imminent, so what replacement hard drive would I need and where is the best place to purchase it?

Hi
If you use something like Piriform Speccy it will ID your current HD and then you should be able to purchase an equivlent locally. or use the internet to buy from HP.
You don't seem to have given your Make Model and OS so an exact answer is not easy to give.
You will need a need OS Recovery DVD/USB to install onto the new drive.
