Performed diagnostic tests. Hard Drive Short DSL Check Failed. The warranty has expired on my HP Notebook Model 15-g069cl. Who should I contact? What should I do?

Hi:

 

That error code means you will have to replace the hard drive and reinstall the operating system.

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

If you let me know what operating system you were running on your notebook, I will give you the instructions to reinstall Windows for free.

 

The specs for your PC indicate that it came with W8.1 but maybe you upgraded it to W10.
