When i start my notebook i get this black screen with an error that says that there is something wrong with hard drive 1 and that i have to make a back up as quick as possible. I also ran a system diagnostic test which gives this fault-ID: 0W60R9-8JLA87-MFPUQJ-608G03. I hope u could help me out on what to do with the issue.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, Elias:

Below is report generated by the failure code you posted, minus your notebook's serial number.

Failure Information
Failure ID Tag Checksum HP Serial Number Test Date Failure Code Device Includes Error Message
0W60R9-8JLA87-MFPUQJ-608G03OKXXXXXXXXXX9/19/20301StorageFloppy Drive, Hard Drive, Memory Drive, Optical Drive, SCSI, Tape DriveHard Disk 1 SMART Hard Drive Detects Imminent Failure

The message means the hard drive is about to fail, or has failed, a new one needs to be installed, as well as the operating system.

If you can still get into Windows, back up any files you want to save onto a portable hard drive as soon as possible.

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

After you replace the drive you should be able to use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use the cloud recovery tool...
