Hard drive DST Failed

HP Pavilion g6-2000 Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been some freezing and other glitches with me computer so i ran a start up test. The test failed and it says Hard Disk DST Failed everything else passed.

It says

Failure ID: 0GE70X-66L8HA-MFPX1F-60QL03

 

PRODUCT ID: AAG29AV.

 

could u help me solve this issue please or advise me. Im out of warranty. Thanks

Hard drive DST Failed

 

DST:Fail= the hard drive has failed/is failing and will need to be replaced. A retail 2.5" laptop SATA hard drive can be used. Western Digital, Segate,Toshiba,etc.

 

Just be sure to get one of at least equal capacity as the original in order to use your Recovery Discs to install Windows and other software/drivers. It can be larger, but not smaller capacity.For instance if you have a 500GB hdd you could use a 750GB hdd but not a 320GB hdd.
