HP 15-f200 Notebook PC (touch)
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

We ran a hardware diagnostic test and found out that everything was ok except for the Hard Drive SMART check, which it failed.  The problem began once we started hearing squeaking and clicking noises come from the laptop. The system started running very slowly until it ran into the blue screen of death, which is where the laptop's condition is right now.  The failure id was: Q8AF0F-7SLA4W-MFPWMF-60B403 . We would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hi:

The error code reported, Hard Disk 1 SMART Hard Drive Detects Imminent Failure, means the hard drive is about to fail, or has failed, needs to be replaced and the operating system reinstalled.

Consult the applicable service manual (AMD or Intel) on the support page for the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.
