Pavilion Notebook

I got a problem with my Pavilion Notebook. I'm not sure what the full product name is but I got the hp hard drive smart failure. 

The failure ID is: M4LDVW-7PGA77-MFPWMG-60D403

I've seen other posts with these failures and that you need to change your HDD, but I dont know what fits my computer and I don't even know the model, but I know it's from 2015/16. 

My product ID is: N3X93EA#UUW

Hi:

 

The error code reported, Hard Disk 1 SMART Hard Drive Detects Imminent Failure, means the hard drive is about to fail, or has failed, a new one needs to be installed, as well as the operating system.

 

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

You may want to consider replacing the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a better performing, normally more reliable 2.5" x7.0mm solid state drive (SSD).

 

You can reinstall W10 for free by making bootable installation media using the media creation tool at the link below.

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
