How do I insert a hard drive into my HP Laptop 15s-eq1061ur?

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.

 

Only M.2 drives are supported.  There is no way to add a 2.5" drive.

 

If you need more storage space, replace the M.2 drive with one having a larger capacity, and use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
