I want the check your current system configuration.
(1) Run msinfo32
- Select <System Summary>:
- copy/paste to following key/values pairs:
OS Name |
Version |
System Model |
System SKU ( equals HP product number (p/n) ) |
BIOS Version/Date |
(2) Please report your results

(1) Download microsoft driver cab file:
File name is 032517c1-fa6b-4e62-9da6-540214b10376_ee4fded76e4be4ef6140134e1353fd527e463e96.cab
Please rename it to new-elan-touchpad.cab
(2) Extract CAB file <new-elan-touchpad.cab> using 7-zip to folder new-elan-touchpad
(3) windows <device manager>
- Update touchpad driver
- Navigator to folder new-elan-touchpad containg new elan touchpad INF driver file
- Confirm the driver update
(4) Reboot and test again ...
(5) Please report your results
