I accidentally dropped my ZBook G5 and the charging cable got bent and now it won’t charge at all. I’m trying to identify if buying a new charger will fix it or I will need a new charging port. I tried using a 45W charger rather than the needed 150W (both chargers output is 19.5V) and with the 45W there was a blinking white light. And I am wondering if the change of charging cable will be enough to fix it (original charger), or does the blinking white light just indicating that the charging is too weak with 45W? Or will I need to buy a new charging port or a new battery?

A 45W power adapter just does not have enough power.
You can try using it while that laptop is turned off.
It may charge the laptop, but it will be very slow.
You are going to need to purchase a new power adapter.
Charging with an underpowered power adapter will reduce the service life of the battery.
You did not completely identify your ZBook.
Is it a Zbook 17 G5?
A ZBook 17 G5 requires a 200W power adapter. That would absolutely explain why all you are getting is a blinking power LED.
