OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop 16-k0000 (665B3AV)

Hi there,

I'm looking to upgrade my laptop's RAM with two 64GB sticks. I know it uses DDR5 RAM, but I'm unsure if my system can handle that much memory. Could someone confirm if this upgrade is possible? Additionally, I'd appreciate any recommendations for compatible RAM options. My laptop's serial number is [personal info removed].

Thanks in advance!

Hi:

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates the maximum memory is 2 x 16 GB of DDR5-4800 MHz.

The Crucial memory report for the model series indicates the max memory is 2 x 32 GB.

Given the above info, my opinion is that 2 x 64 GB of memory has little to no chance of working, and it would be a very expensive gamble on your part to try that much.

Thank you very much! I guess I'll do the 2x 16gb.

You're very welcome.

I'd go with the Crucial DDR5-4800 MHz memory since they indicate it is compatible with your notebook.
