My Hinge literally snapped from no where and my screen lifted off of the back with the hinges and dislocated my video display, and power wires! I paid a lot of money for this PC and it never gave me problems and I'm pretty upset about it. I'm going the legal route if someone from HP doesn't explain what I need to do. I will pay $500 to fix a $50 problem, because that's how pissed I am writing this off of my phone, because this is not right. If this is common, I'm going to be more upset. I may go to the press (I'm probably exaggerating, but I do have a sister that edits a Newspaper for the American Press in Lake Charles, LA. It ain't the New York Post, but it will for sure reach around 40000 people). I can't believe that with no external force or impact, and come to think of it, my laptop does not move at all really, that opening it randomly snaps the hinge? I'm not peeved with anyone in the community, so please don't take it that way, but please explain what is happening, and if I can fix it myself. I am pretty good with electronics. I am however highly upset with HP.
