How can I tell if a laptop has an exeternal detachable battery?

How can  I know if a laptop I am interested in purchasing has an external detachable battery? I'd like to think there is something in the specifications that would tell me, so I don't have to go to a store and look firsr.

Open Support Home

Enter the name of your device

When the website support page opens, Select (as available) a Category > Topic > Subtopic

 

For example,

Open Category User Guides

Open the Service Guide for the computer

Search for "Battery" - illustrations are included that show the battery, part numbers, and replacement procedures.

 

OR

 

Open Category Product Information

Open the Specifications

Search for "battery"

 

Example

Specifications for Zbook 17 G5

note:
Battery is internal and not replaceable by the customer.

 

 

OR

Open the HP Store - click the Flag at the bottom of the website to change region

Search for the computer / workstation you want to purchase

Click "Tech spec" in the the model (or a very similar model)

Search for "battery"

 

Example 

Open Store > search for Zbook 17 G5

Store > Zbook 17 G5

Click "Tech spec" in one of the models shown

[26] Battery is internal and not replaceable by customer. Serviceable by warranty. Batteries have a default one year limited warranty except for Long Life batteries which will have same 1-year or 3-year.
