I have a three-year extended warranty. It still has more than a year to go on it. However, when I check warranty status, HP says mine expired a year after I bought the laptop. Regardless, I have the original order emails and the delivery email fo the HP Care program. How can I get in touch with someone at HP to confirm that I actually have the warranty because the only help I can find at this point is the stupid virtual assistant? Thanks.

The issue can be sorted.

The Virtual Assistant is not stupid - but the software is not true AI either.

HPVA has a limited capacity and is ill suited to handle issues for which there is no online answer.

So...

Ok, so technically it's ignorant or uninformed? :-). It also doesn't ever get to a human with full answers, which is why I hate virtual assistants. Regardless, I'm online with support now. I located a phone number and they are looking into getting the extended warranty added to my account. Thanks for the quick reply and assistance!

OK, yes, the HPVA is limited in what it can do.

Care Pack Support does post a number at their website that customers can (and should) use to ask for help with Warranty questions.
