Check this pictures to guide you in removing your keyboard.

Most keyboards have 4 fixex, push the first one inward holding it with a screw and push any other of three outward by raising it.It applies to most notebooks.hp-2000-disassembly-process-10.jpghp-2000-disassembly-process-11.jpghp-2000-disassembly-process-12.jpghp-2000-disassembly-process-13.jpghp-2000-disassembly-process-14.jpghp-2000-disassembly-process-16.jpghp-2000-disassembly-process-15.jpgClick the kudoos button if it solved it.

Re: How do i remove the keyboard on a HP Pavilion 15-p107TX

Hi,

I would suggest, if you know how to remove and refix the keyboard, then only go ahead. Moreover if there is any issue with keyboard and if unit is in warranty then i don't think you should take the pain of repairing the unit, Let hp handle that part Smiley Happy

And the reason, why i am suggesting this is suppose if any damage happens to the unit while removal or refixing the KB, your unit warranty might go for a toss. So why to take risk.

Otherwise, You can refer to the service maintenance guide for removal procedure but it's not recommended.

Re: How do i remove the keyboard on a HP Pavilion 15-p107TX

Thanks to y2ken, you were on the money. St-Emmanuel, this keyboard is all one piece with the entire top of the laptop, sorry. The only two components that come appart from the top is the main switch and the mouse pad. Also the ribbon connectors are the lift up type. Maverick_Nik you are right, I shouldn't muck around with this, stick to plumbing is the go, even though I did work it out with everyones help. Thanks to all for your help, it's much appreciated. All the ice coffee that I spilt is now all cleaned up, and the laptop is working well.
