Your machine has 2 TB 5400 rpm SATA now. You should be able to add M.2 SATA SSD to your machine using

https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/860evo/
Or similar from reputable vendors.
One example (compatible drive, can use smaller/larger capacity)
