Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I recently purchased a Dell USB keyboard and it was working fine until one morning when it would display additional characters to the key pressed ie the letter O, would show on screen as O9.

 

Dell told me to do a variety of things which didn't work and then advised it was an HP problem.  Any ideas?
