Hp Envyx360 Broken Hinge

The left hinge on my HP ENVY x360 Laptop broke and the screen is separating and the laptop cannot be closed without furthering damage. The laptop was handled and used as intended, and carefully, I simply went to close it and heard a loud crack noise and the hinge had broken.

What is the best way to get customer service for this issue? I see there are many other posts about identical mechanical malfunctions clearly as a result of a faulty design. This was an expensive laptop and I expected it to last longer than a year

I see you are experiencing Hinge issues with the HP Envy x360 Notebook. It is a hardware issue on the PC. 

As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers and should be able to sort this out. HP provides repair or service options for out of warranty products as well. Hence I encourage you to contact HP support for all warranty service options.
