Hp omen dc003la
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello community, i have a very frustrating problem with my laptop and hopefully someone will help me solve it. My Hp Omen laptop has 2x8 GB sticks of ram 2666 and its recognized by speccy and runs at 1980 mhz, that means its 2400. I have tried with one ram at a time and it does recognize that each runs at 1333 mhz separately. My laptop does support dual channel 2666 ram. One stick of 8gb ram was already installed with my laptop, while the other stick was recently installed and its a Hyper x 8gb 2666. I have researched about this problem and i havent found an answer. Experts that answered threads like this just say that its xmp and you are not able to turn xmp on a laptop, which this is not the case due to the base speed of the ram is 2666 mhz. I have the latest BIOS, Drivers and Windows Updates.  I would appreciate any tips or solutions that anyone has for this problem.
