i want to upgrade my laptop into a gaming laptop with the use of external gpu concept, does a hp bs122ne compatible with a thunderbolt 3 to operate with an external GPU? or shoul i just come with a pci express?

No Thunderbolt 3 port. To attach an eGPU to the PCIe slot would mean taking the laptop apart, removing the wireless card and running it with the back off, if that would even work at all. Sorry to say your laptop is not a suitable platform for an eGPU.
