The most reliable and stable ones to use are the Intel versions.
Use the drivers at the Intel website

 

Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 631956-001

Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000 593530-001

Intel Centrino Wireless-N + WiMAX 6150 633817-001

 

AFAIK there are no modules that are compatible with WIFI 5 compatibility.

 

You can work around that issue by using a USB WIFI 5 module since it has its own antennas for dual band.
