 This could be a hardware issue and I strongly recommend you to take it to any nearby HP authorised Service centers or to any Local Computer Repair shop and have it Checked. You might have to bear the repair charges if any hardware needs replacement.

I have had the same problem and sent mine to hp they ended up giving me a gift card for there website and the same thing happened after I ordered the same laptop and I have only had mine new one for 4 days Hp need to get there stuff together and fix this problem because I don't want to have to wait another month to talk to hp support and wait for the refund then get yet another laptop. Hp didn't even want to give me the refund in the first place but my laptop had already been at hp labs getting fixed and they couldn't

don't try to send it in either try to get a full refund and don't get the same laptop the envy sucks this in my second one after going through all of Hp's stuff they had me send it in then I had to wait 4 weeks before they would even say it cant be fixed then got the new one and now on day 4 its dead again wont turn on.
