Hi:

 

Below is the link to the product specs for your notebook.

 

HP Notebook - 15-ba009dx Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

 

According to the specs, the notebook came with a 500 GB 2.5" mechanical hard drive.

 

If you want to upgrade the drive, you can replace the 2.5 mechanical hard drive with a better performing 2.5" SATA Solid State Drive (SSD).
