OMEN by HP Laptop 17-an0xx and Product number 1KV90UA#ABA.
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For the past few months my laptop has been running slowly and I've had to significantly lower my graphics settings for almost every game I play. I recently noticed that my usable RAM is always at most around 7GB and at least around 5.8GB. I have a total of 14GB of RAM installed. Is there a way to fix this? I have already made sure that all software is up to date and have run multiple different hardware checks that have all shown no problem. I'm not sure if it is connected, but i can also only use about 15GB of my VRAM out of the 25GB of VRAM that are installed.

All numbers are very odd and questionable where do you get information from ? Before we can help, we need to know what EXACTLY is your OMEN by HP Laptop 17-an0xx ? Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

             or

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

I found these numbers in the system information page, and they would explain why my memory (RAM) usage in task manager continuously goes up to 100%. I have the OMEN by HP Laptop 17-an0xx and it's product number is 1KV90UA#ABA.

The specs of your machine is

      https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05573956

It only has   12 GB DDR4-2133 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB, 1 x 8 GB), not 14GB. and it ONLY has AMD Radeon™ RX 580 Graphics (8 GB GDDR5 dedicated), not 25GB

Now, please use Task Manager sorted by memory to see which one is the culprit.

That still doesn't explain why my system information page on my computer says that I only have 7GB of usable RAM. Also, task manager shows that it is "Service Host: Sys Main" and "System" that use about 50 to 90 percent of my RAM.
