The specs of your machine is

         https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06617062

It has 128GB M.2 SATA SSD. To be able to install 2.5" HDD/SSD drive, you need 2 more parts

  • Hard drive cable part # L23187-001
  • Hard drive bracket part # L24490-001

which is N/A from HP:

Hi,

The best idea (and probably cheaper)  would be to replace the 128GB M2 SSD with a larger capacity M2 SSD (no limit to capacity)

You can also insert an M2 PCIe NVMe SSD which would also give a great boost to the notebook.

Ex:

https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-14-dk1003dx#ssd

On page 43 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive

Hope it helps,

David
