After I sought help at hp support , they told me to go to an autorised service. After that i contacted this service  and they replaced both my battery and display. Then about 2 months later my screen just turns black and does not respond to any imput while the keyboard is still working and the sound of the video playing on the screen could still be heard. After a lot of tries i somehow managed to make the screen work but now it has this huge white halo around it.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the display again.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I recommend you contact the service center again as it looks like hardware a hardware issue and they will assist you in this regard.

 

Or else you can contact support for available service options for your computer.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

 

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
