I have been waiting for over a month for my care pack to take effect. This is my second post about this as the first one has yet to get a response. I "registered" it myself as recommended but that was a almost a month ago.

Great.

Then asking a service representative in the chat for a verification that your Care pack is active would likely serve the purpose for your thread request.

Is that correct?

I have asked my internal HP contacts if you should have gotten an email with information regarding the activation status of your Care Pack and perhaps a Care Pack reference number.

I do understand your concern.

I did get a response from my query to my contact.

I suggest contacting HP at the support web page for the care pack where you purchased it. Use the chat link there to request the status.

Just out of curiosity, may I ask if you are aware that a Care pack is not a physical thing.

A Care pack is an additional warranty that goes above and beyond the factory warranty.

Good luck!  I have been waiting since April and cannot get this resolved after numerous contacts with customer service.  I am stuck in the loop of submitting information, hearing nothing/following up, and being asked for the information already submitted.
