I recently bought an HP Victus 15 laptop and it's having charging issues. Initially, a 100% charge only lasted 40 minutes. Now, even if I charge it to 100% and shut it down, the battery is completely drained after 3-4 hours. When I try to turn it on without plugging it in, it won't start, and when I connect the charger, it shows 0% battery.

I understand that you are having issues with the battery.

 

It looks like the battery is going bad, However, let's run the battery test. Click here

 

If the test fails, the battery might need service.
