How does the installation fail? How far do you get?

I can't get the thumb drive to boot in UEFI or Legacy. It works fine on two of my other systems. I can install windows to the drive from my desktop and had no problem in UEFI or Legacy, (tried both) I don't seem to have a problem installing Linux just windows. I put a drive in the laptop that had windows 10 installed and it booted fine.  This is the same model drive that I replaced so I wouldn't have a problem but that didn't work out as planned. 😞  Going to try windows 7 next...
