I think I saw an m.2 slot on my 14-ba135cl x360 HP laptop but does it support NVMe?  Also, I assume it is 2280 size?  Thanks for any attention!

@zibbles

It IS a SATA M.2 SSD. When the specs says nothing, it is SATA otherwise it should say M.2 NVMe of PCIe.

The specs of your machine is

           https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05835966

It already has dual storage:

  • 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA
  • 128 GB M.2 SSD    (also SATA)

No other M.2 slot for storage.

Regards.

There is no m.2 drive in this machine.  Thanks for your reply, though.

The slot is open, I saw it with my own eyes.
@Banhien
The link you shared is for the tx, mine is the cl... but, is it safe to assume that this m.2 slot is not nvme, but sata?  And the size is 2280?  The spec sheet you linked did not indicate the size nor the sata/nvme compatibility (going off your answer though, I am assuming it is a sata m.2 slot)
