Hello,
There is a maintenance and service guide that you can check, its for your HP laptop model and it contains the parts compatible and the configurations that would work:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05808729
You have a M.2 SATA SSD, PCIe NVMe TLC and the guide shows that the laptop would support an up to 1TB SSD. At Page 14 (or so according to my Edge reader) it shows that you can do a dual storage as to have the 1TB HDD and 1TB SSD or multiple storage where you connect 2 SSD's and only one otherHDD. This is most likely because there is only one SATA connector on the mother board and the way the laptop is designed, there is also only one tray. Then again, the Wi Fi module is connected via M.2 as well so if you want to add another SSD you might have to remove the Wi Fi module.
Your best bet would be to just check the guide and at most if its not voiding the warranty in your country, just take the bottom off to see what ports you have but to summarize you have one SATA connection for a HDD and 2 M.2 Slots.
You can either do dual storage: 1TB HDD and 1TB SSD or multiple storage 1TB HDD - 1TB SSD - 1TB SSD
Kind regards,
Steven
