Elitlebook 8460p
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have done research into most of the hardware compability such as cpu socket and intel chipset compability. The only problem is that the bios version is F.08 so i do not know if changing the CPU will work and I can update the bios because it has a password and the only mention of the password is on a old phone that has been trashed. I am going to contact HP support soon to combat this but I need to know if upgrading the cpu is worth the risk if the bios version is still F.08.
