Hello, I want to upgrade my laptop memory from 8 to 16. I asked Hp authorized service in my country. And they said they couldn't do it themselves, I had to do it myself or take it to a computer repair shop. I found this memory. It's look compatible. Somebody can you check for me? link below. Sorry for language.

It was written non customer accessible in the user guide. Is it normal for the service to not want to do this?

It costs a bit more than the one you posted.

 

I'm not saying the one you posted won't work, I'm just saying that it is a different part number than what Crucial specifically recommends for your notebook.
