I want to upgrade my notebook 13 -u005tu to have m.2 pcie ssd . Does it have free slot??

Hi:

 

Your notebook does not have a M.2 slot.

 

The notebook had to come from HP with a M.2 SATA SSD already included.

 

Different motherboards are used for models with 2.5" hard drives or M.2 SATA SSD's.

 

See chapter 3 of the service manual.

You could always replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD and get much better performance.
