Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My I2C HID Device has an error, and I cannot use the trackpad on the computer I got a couple of days ago.  The device status says: 

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

A request for the HID descriptor failed.

I've already run a Hardware and Devices Troubleshoot, which has not solved the problem.  The drivers are all up to date, and I've attached a pic of what the device manager looks like for me:

I don't know what the issue is or how to fix it.
