I have hp 15s eq1000 series ryzen 3 3250u (8 gb/ 256 gb) laptop. Recently when i tried to find out the frequency of the ram the task manager showed that it is 2400mhz and cmd showed 3200mhz, The official website of hp shows that it is a 2400mhz ram and the hp support assistant app showed that it is a 3200mhz ram,

So my question is that, Which one should i consider to be true.

There is nothing wrong with the memory frequency.

Your notebook's processor cannot run the memory any faster than 2400 MHz, so the DDR4-3200 memory automatically bridges to 2400 MHz.

Below are the specs for your notebook's processor:

The memory speed is under the Connectivity section.

AMD Ryzen™ 3 3250U Drivers

PCI Express® Version PCIe® 3.0

System Memory Type DDR4
Memory Channels 2
System Memory Specification   Up to 2400 MT/s
