How can I increase the storage space? There are only 128 gigabytes in the system.

Hi:

 

You can replace the existing 128 GB M.2 SSD with a M.2 SSD having a larger storage capacity.

 

Chapter 1 of the maintenance and service guide on your notebook's support page indicates that NVMe SSD's are supported, so if your notebook came with a 128 GB SATA SSD, you may want to install the faster speed NVMe M.2 drive instead.

Suggested replacements would be the Samsung 980 (not 980 Pro) or the Western Digital Blue SN570.

 

You should be able to safely install a M.2 NVMe drive up to 1 TB in your notebook.
