I would like to know if it is possible to replace only the fan cooler on an HP Pavilion 17-cd0526na, without having to replace the entire heat sink.

Thank you in advance for your support.
I look forward to your response.

Possible?

Yes, but you would still have to purchase the appropriate heat sink for your discrete graphics solution.

HP does not sell the fans separately, but they are available in the open market as electronic spare parts.

You could look at the fan and get its manufacturer and part number.

When you have that you can go online using a search engine with those as keywords to find the replacement fan.

The little fans are pretty inexpensive.

Once you have sourced it, replace the one you want to replace with the new one.
