Product: HP Omen 17-cb1008na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I currently have a HP Omen 17 cb1008na laptop with a stock storage configuration including a 512gb NVME SSD drive and 1tb HDD and am looking to upgrade and install a second NVME drive into the spare unpopulated second m.2 slot on the motherboard. I am unable to determine from the upgrade and service manuals if it is possible to run with the configuration of 3 storage options of 2 NVME SSD cards and a HDD. I would be looking at installing a 1tb Western digital SN750 2280 as the new m.2 NVME drive.

Any Advice on wether this configuration is possible would be appreciated

Can you post a link or a picture of  your board. The service guide I found does not show a secondary NVME slot, but in the overwhelming number of slightly different model numbers I may have pulled the wrong one.

Here are where I found the manuals available for my model available on the HP support website:

I can only find information about dual storage options being available in the service and maintenance manual 

 

Her are the actual images of the drive slots available:

Currently slot B is populated with the 512gb boot SSD and a blank is installed in the secondary SSD slot
