@Benaf

HP 440 G6 is a series of MANY different models/prodicts with many different options/combinations/configurations. Please check options on page 2 of the following manual

       http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06200602.pdf

Your machine probably has M.2 256GB SSD now. You would need

   Hard Drive Hardware Kit (includes hard drive cover and connector) part # L44510-001

To be able to install 2.5" HDD or SSD.

Regards.

Hi,

@BenafI saw the private message, but will answer here.

Yes, you can install a 2.5" HDD or SSD of your desired capacity (max 2TB HDD because of thickness.

On page 45 of service manual you can see the steps to install the drive

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06200602

You might need the bracket and cable (check innotebook and see if they are present) which have part number L44510-001bracket cable 440 g6.PNG

You can try performing an online search for the part in your country or try the nearest HP service center.

You could also upgrade the M2 SSD to a much higher capacity SSD (no limit to capacity)

Hope it helps,

David
