Hi,

Hp 840 g2 5th generation m2 ssd supported size is 2260 but i want to know is this supports NVME or Just Simple M2 NGFF.

M.2 SSDM.2 SSD

 

This is a PCIe (also known as NVME) 2 x 2 SSD. So it is kind of a primitive NVME device. 2260 form factor. If you can find another type of 2260 NVME M.2 it would work but the slot is only capable of 2x performance. You will not get 3000 mbps speed as with newer models. Maybe one-third of that but still fast.
