I bought my HP notebook (HP Laptop 14-dq0xxx) less than a week ago, and I am extremely satisfied. I don't need it for gaming (although I've played several games) but for checking news and email, reading online stuff, writing, studying, etc.
I was interested on how upgradable this laptop is -- hardware-wise? The storage is 64GB in total. If I'm thinking of upgrading it in the future, what are my chances?
Thank you for reading.

Below is the link to the service manual.
Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.
I assume that your notebook has the 64 GB eMMC drive.
Those cannot be upgraded, and the M.2 SSD slot, if your notebook has one, is disabled.

Since I don't work for or represent, HP, I would have no idea why users can't take advantage of the M.2 slot (if there is one).
For some reason, the notebooks with the eMMC drives are not upgradable.
Folks have tried to add 2.5" drives in the models that have a SATA connector, M.2 drives if they have a M.2 SSD, and all reported not working.
