The place where the memory module fits on the slot is called NOTCH
DDR-3 NOTCH is different from the DDR-4 NOTCH

DDR-4 will not fit inside the MEM slot

HI.

The SLOT DDR3 are not compatible with DDR4, I leave the technical characteristics of their chip:

Speed: 1600MHz (PC3-12800)
Technology: DDR3 SDRAM
Pins: 204-pin, Gold Connectors
Form Factor: SODIMM (Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module)
Module Dimensions: 67.6mm x 30mm (LxH)
Data Integrity: Non-ECC
Ranking: 1R, 2R, 4R
Voltage: Low - 1.35V
CAS Latency: You will receive memory with the correct CAS Latency for your model

Regards.
