Hi ,

I want to upgrade my notebook(hp pavilion x360 m convertible 14m-cd0003dx ) to 500 GB SSD.

please let me know if this model is upgradable, 

if yes, any instruction video would be really helpful as I am not able to find the SSD in the Laptop

Hi:

 

It appears to me that the SSD is under the aluminum insulator cover on the left side of your screenshot in the middle.

 

The longer, thinner silver rectangle with the philips head screw on the right side.

 

That screw holds down the SSD.

 

See chapter 5, page 36 of the service manual at the link below for how to remove the SSD.

I got it..

but to be honest I didn’t expect it .. it looks more like a RAM. I ordered this (attached) one but seems it will not work?

any idea what is this type of SSD called so that I can get a compatible upgrade.

For some reason, all the pictures are gone from your posts.

 

According to the manual, it appears that your notebook supports both SATA and NVMe M.2  SSD's.
