Is it possible to modify the HP laptop - 15-db0065ur, add RAM?

Your machine uses A6 processor, it only has One slot of TAM as mentioned  on the manual for the sewries::

 

One memory module slot (E2/A4/A6 processors):

Memory is non-customer accessible/non-upgradeable
DDR4-1866 single channel support
Supports up to 8 GB of system RAM in the following configurations:

● 8192 MB (8192 MB×1)

● 4096 MB (4096 MB×1)

 

Actually you can replace 4GB with 8GB at your own risk.
