Is it possible to upgrade hard disk drive HP pavilion x360 convertible PC 11-u038TU to SSD 500GB Samsung 860 Evo? Should I clone first before instalation?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 4 GB DDR3L-1600 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB) on the PC. 

 

And your computer Support Upton 8 GB system memory. HP does not recommend to use Third party parts as they are not tested by HP and may not be accurate.
