Dears,
Is possible install SSD SM951-NVMe M.2 (samsung) on HP Pavilion 15-ak050nw.
I have bought HP Pavilion 15-ak050nw and would like to add SSD m.2 faster then 5xxMb/s
Win10 will start from SSD, m.2
I think about
Dysk SSD Samsung M.2 2280 256GB, PCIe 3.0 (MZVPV256HDGL-00000)
Interface : M.2(NGFF) PCI-Express NAND: MLC 16nm
I have not found clear answer on this forum
Could you support me or send other proposal for SSD m.2
Regards RaPa

No only SATA type M.2 mSSDs:
M.2 SATA-3 (NGFF): ● SSD, 256GB, 2280, M.2, SATA-3, TLC ● SSD, 128GB, 2280, M.2, SATA-3, TLC ● SSD, 128GB, 2280, M.2, SATA-3, Value DRAM-less
The read and write speed on a SATA M.2 is going to be right around 500 mbps. About the same as a 2.5 inch SATA SSD.
You should be aware that many users are are having problems getting the system to recognize an M.2 drive on laptops that did not come with an M.2 from the factory. HP is not giving a lot of explanation, but it appears the M.2 slot might be disabled in the BIOS:
